There are three different power options for the Ford Explorer which are tuned four different ways. Move up to the Platinum trim and you have a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine that gives you 365 horsepower and 380 lb.-ft. of torque. The ST trim uses this same engine but pumps up the power to 400 ponies and 415 lb.-ft. of torque. The Hybrid model is powered by a 3.3-liter V6 and electric motor to give you 318 horsepower and 322 lb.-ft. of torque.
