The Type R Hatchback starts at $44,795, which is a big jump from the Si Sedan. However, it features a 315-horsepower turbocharged engine and a six-speed manual transmission with rev-matching. It also comes with a four-mode drive system, Brembo brakes, and 19-inch wheels.

All Honda Civic trims come in a FWD layout. AWD is not an option on any of the trims. All of the 2024 Honda Civic trims have good fuel economy. Even the Type R gets up to 28 MPG on the highway. The most efficient trim is the Civic EX, which gets up to 42 MPG on the highway.
