Trim Breakdown for the Honda Civic
The 2024 Honda Civic & Civic SI Sedan have a few different trim levels. The Civic sedan comes in five trim levels. The hatchback version of the Civic comes in a total of four trims.
There’s also the Type R Civic, which only comes in a hatchback layout. Let’s take a closer look at the trim breakdown.
Honda Civic Sedans
The 2024 Honda Civic Sedan comes in the LX, Sport, EX, Touring, and SI trims. The LX Sedan trim starts at $23,950 and comes with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 158 horsepower. Other features of the LX include adaptive cruise control, push-button start, rear-side airbags, and Honda Sensing driver assists.
The Sport Sedan is next with a starting price of $25,550. It adds features like 18-inch gloss black wheels, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and keyless entry. The EX Sedan starts at $26,950 and it adds a turbocharged engine that makes 180 horsepower, plus 17-inch alloy wheels, a power moonroof, and heated side mirrors.
Moving up to the Touring Sedan, which has a starting price of $30,550, you’ll get extra features like LED fog lights, leather upholstery, Bose audio, and a 10-inch information display. The SI Sedan starts at $29,100 and features a 200-horsepower turbocharged engine. It also comes with a six-speed manual transmission.
Honda Civic Hatchbacks
Also included in the 2024 Honda Civic & Civic SI Sedan trim breakdown are the hatchback models. The hatchback trims start with the LX Hatchback and a starting price of $24,950. Standard equipment includes 16-inch alloy wheels, a rearview monitor, and a folding rear seat. The Sport Hatchback starts at $26,350 and adds 18-inch alloy wheels and a six-speed manual transmission.
Moving up to the EX-L Hatchback you’ll get leather upholstery, an eight-way power driver’s seat, and dual-zone automatic climate control for a starting price of $28,650. The Sport Touring Hatchback starts at $31,450 and adds a nine-inch touchscreen, navigation, a wireless charging pad, and front and rear parking sensors.
Honda Civic Performance Models
As previously mentioned, the Honda Civic performance models include the Si Sedan and the Type R Hatchback. The Si Sedan is the more affordably priced of the two performance models, but it also lags somewhat in power and sporty features compared to the Type R Hatchback.
The Type R Hatchback starts at $44,795, which is a big jump from the Si Sedan. However, it features a 315-horsepower turbocharged engine and a six-speed manual transmission with rev-matching. It also comes with a four-mode drive system, Brembo brakes, and 19-inch wheels.
All Honda Civic trims come in a FWD layout. AWD is not an option on any of the trims. All of the 2024 Honda Civic trims have good fuel economy. Even the Type R gets up to 28 MPG on the highway. The most efficient trim is the Civic EX, which gets up to 42 MPG on the highway.
As you can see, there are quite a few options for the 2024 Honda Civic & Civic SI Sedan trims. Most trims are in a pretty affordable price range as well. It’s only the Civic Type R that takes a big jump in price, but you’ll also get exciting sporty performance.
