The Ford Mustang Mach-E GT Bronze Is More Than Just Good Looks

The Mustang Mach-E options are growing. Head to a Ford dealer for the top-of-the-line GT model, and can get it with a new Bronze Appearance Package.

But just because it’s called an appearance package doesn’t mean it is just about looks. This new package has a twist. You can also get it with an optional performance upgrade.

Ok, It’s Still Mostly About Looks

Ford is not kidding about the bronze when it comes to the Bronze Appearance Package. To make sure it will stand out on a Ford dealer sales lot, they brought the bronze to the grille, the badging inside and out, and the 20-inch wheels. It pairs well with any of the three colors available with the package, whether you choose Eruption Green, Star White Metallic Tri-Coat, or Shadow Black.

Now Let’s Talk About Performance

There are not a whole lot of details available about what the performance upgrades will be, but according to Ford, adding the performance pack will make it the quickest accelerating Mach-E you can get. The regular Mustang Mach-E GT has an electric powertrain with 480 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque that will go from zero to 60 in just 3.7 seconds, so an even quicker acceleration time is quite impressive.

What Else is New For the 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E

While the Bronze Edition of the Mach-E is exciting news, it’s not the only thing that’s going on with the Mach-E for 2024. A Rally trim is also a new addition for the latest model year. This model takes aim at some very light off-road duty with features such as a red tow hook, fog lights, and more aggressive tires.

The 2024 Mach-E GT will also get some new standard features. The MagneRide Damping system will now come standard to optimize handling, and it will also receive upgraded front rotors with red-painted Brembo brake calipers. Inside, the GT will now have Ford Performance front seats up front, and the driver will get a 10-way power adjustable feature.

What About the Power for the Rest of the Lineup?

If you just want a regular Ford Mustang Mach-E, you’ll have plenty of options when you go to a Ford dealer. Even the standard Mac-E delivers the speed and performance you expect from a Mustang. It comes with either the standard 72 kWh battery pack or an Extended Range 91 kWh battery pack, and you can get it with either a single electric motor or two motors. The single motor with the standard range battery delivers 266 horsepower, but this is just the beginning. When the Mustang has two motors and the extended range battery, it will generate 346 horsepower, and this isn’t even the GT.

Whether you want to wait to find out more about the performance pack or you can’t wait to get behind the wheel of a Mach-E, there are plenty of thrills waiting for you.
