Best Practice Articles

It started off as a rant that went on YouTube. Now, it's a call to action. Automotive vendors, here's what you need to do in order to educate in the automotive industry. Dealers, please let your vendors know about this.

I totally understand the mentality. Vendors want to use the various blogs, networks, webinars, conferences, and other ways we reach out to dealers to help to sell our products. I also understand that some vendors are definitely able to increase business by being "pitchy" on these venues, but I'd like to offer an alternative.

Educate. That's it. Share your experiences, best practices, and things that can help dealers really make an impact at their dealership whether they hire a company or not. What happens is this. Some people will take the information and do it themselves. Others will not do anything with the information. Some will see the value and want to hire you to do it for them. It works.
